What's Included?


Along with your selected accommodations your ticket price includes:

Transportation to the retreat center is not included, however, it is an easy Uber ride from the Denver International Airport -- approx. 90 minutes. Attendees will be connected prior to the retreat to arrange car pooling if desired so that you can split costs.

Chia pudding with coconut milk, strawberries and banana.

Egg scramble with fresh farm eggs and veggies(kale, yellow squash and mushrooms)

Avocado toast with local gluten free vegan bread grilled and lightly seasoned

Pumkin chocolate chip muffins


Vegan Taco/Salad Bar

Raw walnut taco meat, diced tomatoes, citrus kale salad,  julienne red cabbage, red pepper pico de gallo, vegan cashew queso, seasoned black beans, guacamole, green onions and corn tortillas.

Fresh garden salad with house made vegan cashew ranch and roasted pumpkin seed topping.


Quinoa Crust Pizzas.

Vegan gluten free pizzas made with house-made soft and crunchy sprouted quinoa crust covered in a creamy pesto sauce topped with artichokes, tomatoes, olives, mushrooms and a cashew feta.

Fresh garden salad with toppings on the side(mushrooms, roasted pumpkin seeds, diced red pepper, olives and vegan parmesan) served with a cashew sun-dried tomatoes salad dressing

The Venue

Located just an hour south of Denver, and nestled into the foothills of the Front Range, SunMountain Center is a dreamy location with two 100 year old mansions on-site. Within walking distance of downtown Manitou Springs, and just a few minute drive from Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, there is a healing and ancient energy present. As a creative sanctuary for wellness, we they Bed & Breakfast stays, a variety of retreats, living art experiences, farm-to-table food events, and so much more.

Your Host

Courtney Connell is an ERYT 200 yoga instructor, certified and registered through the Yoga Alliance. She is formally trained in Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Gentle and Nidra. Her passion lies in studying the links between Western Medicine and Eastern Practice while creating mindful sequences to challenge the mind, body and soul. All retreats are blended with 8-limb philosophy, honoring a complete yogic experience.


Though we will try to stick to this agenda, we will not be on a forced timeline (except for flight arrivals and departures!)

Day One

If coming by Plane:

We recommend flying into Denver International Airport. The retreat center is. approximately 90 minutes from the airport. Try to arrive at the before 3:30PM.


If coming by Car:

3:00 - 3:30 PM - Arrive at the SunMountain Center



3:45 PM - Retreat Center Orientation

4:00 PM - Welcome Circle

5:00 PM - Free Time (settle in)

6:00 PM - Dinner

8:00 PM - Intention Setting Yoga Nidra Meditation

Day Two (New Year's Eve)

8:00 AM - Breakfast

9:00 AM - Intentions for the Body / Asana (Yoga Postures) Workshop

12:00 PM - Lunch

1:00 PM - Intentions for the Mind pt. 1 / Exploring the Yamas

3:00 PM - Short Break

3:30 PM - Intentions for the Mind pt. 2 / Exploring the Niyamas

6:00 PM - Dinner

8:00 PM - Intentions for the Soul / Journaling Time

10:00 PM - Fireside Group Discussion / Hang Out in Lodge

11:00 PM - Enter into Yoga Nidra Meditation

12:00 PM - Welcome the New Year Together

12:15 PM - Deep Discussions or Bed Time, You Choose!

Day Three (new Year's day)

8:00 AM - Breakfast

10:00 AM - Group Mineral Soak

12:00 PM - Lunch

1:30 PM - Beginner Flexibility Workshop

3:00 PM - Healthy Habits Workshop (from Ayurvedic Practices to the concept of "Tapas", we will explore the habits we want to take home with us for 2020)

4:30 PM -  45 minute Vinyasa Flow

5:15 PM - Free time before dinner

6:00 PM - Dinner

8:00 PM - Closing Circle and Yoga Nidra Meditation

Day Four

8:00 AM - Breakfast

10:00 AM - Final Group Meditation / Closing Circle

11:00 AM - Check out of SunMountain Center
